Last Weekend of the Season!

Well it’s all said and done, the season went by in a flash! A great sailing season it was as well, aside from a hurricane. This closing weekend awarded the Higgins, Commodore, and Bartlett trophies as three separate races, plus several season-long perpetual trophies.

Mystery got the gun! It was a drifter that came down to minutes before the 2.5-hour time limit expired — Mystery finished just in time, extending the limit another 45 minutes for Silver Heel and Island Blossom to sneak in behind her before the cutoff.

Labor Day Series Results!

After tropical storm Hanna brought some rain and a few large gusts of wind, conditions calmed down enough for racing. The planned back-to-back-to-back format was re-evaluated and reduced to two races on Sunday, with the third race made up the following weekend immediately after the Bartlett Cup race.
